Acacia is a deciduous tree that reaches 12 - 30 m in height and 30 - 60 cm in diameter. The bark of young trees is polished and covered with thorns.
The leaves are feather-shaped leaves and consist of 7 - 21 small oval leaves. These small leaves 30 - 50 mm are placed into some 20 - 30 cm branch, which makes it look like a fern plant.
Blossom includes 10 - 25 flowers similar to pea flowers. The flowers have 5 irregular petals daily that the upper petal has a yellow discoloration.
