Hazelnut is a deciduous shrub that goes up to 4 - 8 m height. The bark of the trunk is grey in colour with happy white spots.
The leaves can be 6-12 cm long to allow me to push on both sides and have serrated edges.
The flowers bloom early in spring and they are hermaphrodites. The flowers are up to 10 cm long, mostly yellow to brown colour.
