Elderberry

It is a small shrub or tree that grows 2-5 m high and up to 25 cm thick. The trunk, branches, skin are grey, while the wood and its marrow are white.

The leaves are almost petiolate, oval, apical, serrate, dark green in colour.

The flowers are white in pale yellow, with long tail, with a pleasant smell, arranged and clustered in an umbrella kind of shape.

The cup is small with five teeth. The crown is made of five thin lobes, ovoid shape.
